I got a New Nintendo 2DS XL Animal Crossing Edition yesterday! It’s a really beautiful mint green and cream colored console.
The cover features the famous triangular Animal Crossing grass pattern in shimmery finish that makes the shapes appear in lighter or darker shade depending how the light hits it. In addition the cover has nice debossed decorations with the words “Animal Crossing” surrounded by trees and a house. A brighter green debossed leaf symbol in the middle crowns everything. The D-pad, some of the buttons and volume slider are mint green too to brighten up your day when playing. 

The New 2DS XL is noticeably lighter in weight than its 3DS counterparts which was a very pleasant surprise. Another great thing is that most of the device is matte, so it will show less smudges and fingerprints compared to the New 3DS XL’s shiny surface.

This is my third limited edition Animal Crossing console, joining the family of an Animal Crossing: New Leaf Edition 3DS XL and a Happy Home Designer New 3DS XL.
